Report a Bug or Request a Feature
DocGraph’s source code isn’t public, but bugs and ideas are tracked in the open on GitHub at docgraph-app/docgraph. You can see what others have reported, follow progress, and get notified when something is fixed.
Report a bug
Section titled “Report a bug”Choose Help → Report a Problem… in DocGraph. The same form opens from Report a problem… in Settings → General → Updates, and from ⌘K → Report a Problem.
Your browser opens a bug report form on GitHub with your DocGraph version, platform, OS version and build type already filled in. Describe what happened and the steps that lead to it, then submit. DocGraph sends nothing by itself: you see everything in the form before you submit it, and you can change or remove any of it.
A GitHub account is needed to submit. Don’t paste the contents of private notes into a report, because issues are public.
Request a feature
Section titled “Request a feature”Choose Help → Request a Feature…, the Request a feature… button in Settings → General → Updates, or ⌘K → Request a Feature. You can also open the form directly.
The form asks what you’re trying to do before it asks for your idea, because knowing why helps find the best fit. Search the existing issues first: if someone already asked, a 👍 on that issue counts.
Ask a question
Section titled “Ask a question”Ask how to do something, or talk an idea through before requesting it, in GitHub Discussions.
Contact support privately
Section titled “Contact support privately”Email support@docgraph.app (also Help → Contact Support…) when a problem involves your own files or personal details, or if you don’t have a GitHub account.
Report a security problem
Section titled “Report a security problem”Please don’t open a public issue. Email support@docgraph.app with “Security” in the subject, as described in SECURITY.md.
