Settings
DocGraph’s settings are deliberately small — most things work out of the box. Here’s what you can tune.
Appearance
Section titled “Appearance”- Themes: light, dark, and the DocGraph dark themes — including Owl, a blue-grey dark theme designed for long editing sessions.
- Density: compact, comfortable, or spacious spacing for the app chrome.
Reading preferences
Section titled “Reading preferences”Adjust how documents read without touching the files themselves: zoom, line spacing, and reading font, plus reading themes for comfortable long-form reading. These apply live to both HTML and Markdown documents.
Enable or disable local AI, choose your Ollama chat model and embedding model, and manage the local index. AI is off by default — see Local AI Setup.
Plugins & Restricted Mode
Section titled “Plugins & Restricted Mode”Manage installed plugins and their permissions. Restricted Mode is on by default: third-party plugins stay disabled until you deliberately turn it off. See Using Plugins.
MCP server
Section titled “MCP server”Let external tools and agents (like Claude Code) work your vault over the Model Context Protocol. Off until you enable it; rotate the access token any time, and every write requires your in-app confirmation.
Version history
Section titled “Version history”Per-document history is kept over git with restore-in-place. Remote sync is optional and opt-in — it’s the only way anything leaves your machine.
